Internship days in Kuching pt.1 (places i went)

Assalamualaikum

after soooo longg, yes now baru terfikir nak update. instead of having diary (which i stopped writing since high school), blog ni kinda jd cm journal hehe so that i will have something to look back on when im old later

so im currently in Kuching doing my 2nd year's intership in Pejabat Kesihatan Bahagian Kuching. boleh je buat dekat Kota Kinabalu but i chose Kuching sebab nak try out new place. of course, benda paling ketara is the language difference. but after 2 weeks, i can actually understand their jokes too (only in bhasa yang paling mudah la) if dh ckp pelik-pelik tu . senyum je la

and im not doing it alone this year hehe , with my 2 other classmates (1 frm Johor & another one from Sibu) Since Nana is from Sarawak, she is literally the translator every time (tp kdg2 dia pn x fham jugak) hahaha

so in this post i'll share some nice places that we went (in 2 weeks)

Pustaka Negeri Sarawak

The library's interior is soooo nice, mcm nak bawa bantal tido je kat dalam.

it is somehow pelik sebab pergi library hahaha but actually our supervisor was playing tour guide that day (dalam kereta je) library is the only place kitorang turun hehe thats him in the above snap (nmpk blakang je)

sumpah sv kitorang baik and comel to the max 

(if pagi2 dh dgr his giggly laugh, happy je whole day aku )

Waterfront Kuching

so from waterfront, you can actually ride the sampan for 1 Ringgit per trip, the place across the river is Kg. Gersik, which you can get these things there;

-Kek Lapis (there are few choices tho, but the most popular one-Mira CakeHouse-, yg tepi2 tu pun sedap je, tp kena jalan la tgk sendiri )

-Ikan Terubok Masin (Moms will love this, few choices of stall selling this, but preferable survey harga and sizes dulu before beli)

p/s : hotel nearby pun banyak , if nak dekat dengan statue kucing yg famous tu , there are choices of Grand Margherita(Margharita?), Riverside Majestic hm pastu x ingat dh hahah and makanan pun senang je nak cari (will post another part on foods only :) 

souvenirs were nearby too, berbaris-baris kedai berdepan dengan waterfront, easy to shop huh ?

it is not necessarily to go there with sampan , drive pun boleh . waze je Kg. Gersik hehe. 

This cruise will cost about RM 60 per adult. not sure how much fr children. dia gerak around 4.30 kot ? maybe 5 ? sorryyy tak ingat .  the package will include foods on board, entertainments and some other stuffs too. the pathway ( hujung ke hujung sungai ) . its a bit pricey tho but maybe berbaloi kalau dtg kuching once in a lifetime. hahahaha but i have better choices below...... keeep readingggg

im sorry i dont hv the proper picture for the smaller bot(pki engine jugak) . it cost RM 19 (it was on promotion) for adult . no condiments and entertainments but you get to enjoy the view :) they have a trip around 6.30pm so i think its the perfect time to ride on sbb boleh tgk sunset . but boleh je masa lain , sbb dia ada byk trip . along the river , ada bangunan2, and get to watch the village nearby . tp gmbr tu dh gelap sbb bot lambat datang haritu sobss and i missed to snap the sunset

Pantai Damai 

on the way. you'll have a clear view of mount Santubong ( petang2 kurang sikit but still can see).
Approcximately 40-50 minutes from Kuching City, yessss dia sgt jauh ke dalam. but if you're the kind yang nak beach view, there is Damai Beach Resort and those yg sewakan only bed (from 59 ringgit x silap ) tp sumpah jauh dari bandar , klu dtg nak tgk tempat , yes okayy . but if just nak pantai , tak baloi sgt

excuse my face hahahaha

on this beach, you can find a food court behind (yg kat gmbar tu , ye belakang aku), surau pun ada .  and a lot of pokestops too hahaha bcs it has a lot of monument, stones and stuffs . kalau pergi weekend sumpah orang ganti2 psang the lure thing

Kampung Budaya Sarawak

there is another attraction here in Damai, opposite the entrance nak gi pantai tu

the entry-fees is 60 ringgit jugak kot per adult (no, ktrg x masuk pun tempat ni) tourist ramai datang, whats inside pun tak tau (sape nak tau boleh je google and price list is all there)

k, tu je.

eh jap , if la if someone is interested tu watch the whole Kuching view, there is this building called Kuching Civic Centre (mane la tau google2 jumpa tempat ni). NO, DONT GO THERE . hahahaha sv suggest pegi tempat tu , and so we did. Guess what, tempat tu dh lama tutup sbb ada orang bunuh diri and bangunan pn x selamat hahaha , so dont, i dont know where else blh tgk the whole Kuching's view mcm Signal Hill, KK . 

so if anyone from Sarawak or studying here know where else we should visit, drop some comments peopleee

2 weeks left here . and lots more to explore :) weekends is the only free day we have . weekdays pkul 9 dah tido dah haha

and tak reti-reti lagi nak ckap Sarawak

Assalamualaikum and hello ? wow , last update : September . *applause*

congratulations to myself for completing this semester's events. of course with the help of my fellow biro-mates. well, its not even my THING to do those kebudayaan and kesenian stuff but however we managed to handle them. walaupun tak se-teratur-organized orang lain buat. but still, HABIS.

perit pulak bila terfikir untuk next sem. sobs. what to do, dah terlajak dah perahu aku, nak undur balik pengayuh dah kena sorok. hahahahaha.

honestly, ak tak banyak study pun this sem. ni bukan nak tunjuk buruk ak. tapi kepada sesiapa yg baca ni , ni adalah nasihat untuk korang ukur baju di badan sendiri. kadang2 kita memang dah rasa tak boleh tapi kena teruskan jugak sebab tak strong enough nak voice out apa yang kita nak. so nasihat dia, please say NO when you really dont want.

bila aku study ? few days before test. yang pulun sepulun-pulunnya sambil2 tetido-tido.

boleh jawab ke tak ? depends. kalau sempat ingat, dpatlah jawab.

previously, i used to buka notes malam2 wlupun bukan mggu test , bkn la each day tapi adala jugak. but sem ni, tak langsung. kan aku dh cakap tak reti nak bahagi2 diri and masa ni . hmmmm

and bila buat refleksi diri, hmm baru la sedar kalau ak study btul2 last year mesti blh score . sibuk tak sibuk lebih kurang je markah. ak bukan lah genius yang baca sekali boleh hafal. kekeke kena study hard yang btul2 hard baru blh jalan.

sem ni tak dapat update pun ape2 yg interesting ak buat . hambar je semua. keluar dgn bebigals pun takde. seee ? bukan ak je busy. semua busy. sian korang , hmm aku pun kesian dgn diri sendiri gak.

satu sem je lagi tika. pastu pegi jauh2 la aktiviti2 ni. KI tak KI. cukup dah la kot. aim ak dlm pelajaran and kerja later tinggi. tp klu dok tak reti fokus mcm ni . mcm mne tu ?

satu bulan min satu entry, cukuplah kan ? hahaha . sekurang-kurang ada la update untuk bulan ni . dah hampir sebulan dh start sem baru ............... the mixed feelings i have throughout this month is not okay for me

too many things to concentrate on and i took 22 credit hours for this sem, berat weh, hmm biasalah ak ni selalu je banyak negative thoughts so kalau ada yang baca jgn la stress pulak dengan ayat negatif aku eh ? mengeluh mmg tak elok, tapi hakikat dia ak mmg suka mengeluh nak buat cemana :(

the starting was okayy, but then it becomes harder when ................ tak nak cerita .

subjek this sem pun x calang-calang hardcore dia, campur dgn xleh fokus dalam kelas sbb nun msalah atas tu , mmg sedap starting aku , mcm sambal belacan tau dak

i should care less kot so that my life could be easier

asyik kita kesiankan orang , siapa nak kesiankan diri sendiri ? haaa ?

entry pun xde isi. semangat aku ntah kemana , pergi sekali dengan jerebu agaknye kena tiup pastu hilang terus pastu insyaAllah muncul lagi tahun depan

if you are reading this while scrolling through ur past entries. this is one of the hardest times in ur life . u have to make a hard decision bcs there is no other options they can provide for you. you've already tried ur best to avoid it but at the end u have to do it for ur own good . but if the next entry stated the other way round, abaikan je la notes ni hahahahahahaa

Habis dah praktikal . yeayyyy

Hello everyone, Assalamualaikum . Its almost the end of my semester’s holidays . im leaving kk in a few days…………. to be accurate, it’s the day after tomorrow. This is the hardest goodbye I have to face for each holidays. I spent my holidays wisely so no regret. Sebenarnya banyak makan tido je hahah dalam 10 minggu ( 6 minggu lepak and another 4 weeks ak pergi latihan industri)

‘Eh sebulan ja ?’ the most common question I got here in Jabatan Kesihatan Persekitaran Bandaraya, DBKK. Since memang requirement untuk LI (latihan industri) first year sebulan je, so sebulan je la. Ada juga pihak yang membesarkan hal knp sebulan je(not my place) sbb mungkin mereka rasa tak sempat nak ajar kami semua benda. But if they make good schedule for u and pegawai-pegawai sendiri nak ajak keluar and bagi kerja, then its not a problem kan ? 

Most of us dapat jadual penempatan untuk sepanjang 4 minggu, so akan rotate bahagian2 yang berlainan. It’s the same for me, I get to experience different things in different group. But obviously memang diletakkan under health department, tapi ada juga yang tanya kenapa bukan dekat occupational health department. well I have to say , we don’t get to choose. Apa-apa pun yang diberi, tetap akan bagi benefit dekat kita

Kalau nak cerita details pasal LI ak memang takla, but a summary will do. A detail summary.

First, the staffs. Alahai boss2, pakcik2, makcik2, kakak2, abang2 kat sini baik sungguh. They are soooo friendly and ke-bapa-an and ke-ibu-an hahahahha. Tiap pagi kena Tanya dah makan ke belum, ajak maka. Well, mungkin certain people benda ni perkara biasa tp ni first time ak bekerja and those situation buat ak rasa di-appreciate. I feel so welcomed here. And credit also laa sebab they all sabahan, bukan nak berat sebelah tapi citizen sini memang peramah dan rendah diri

Suasana kat office ni pun tenang je despite we are the biggest and busiest department. ni tak tipu tau Dr Din sendiri yang comment ckp suasana cool hahaha. Takde yang suara bingit, kecoh tak tentu, Rilekkkkk je . tapi kerja jalann J 

Dari segi sharing ilmu, ni sumpah diorang tak lokek ilmu. Ada certain orang dia takkan buka mulut cerita kat kita melainkan kita minta ajar and so on. Tapi kat sini, kadang2 bila ak asyik pindah bahagian lupa nak tanya soalan2 basic, tak sempat aku tanya diorang dah buka mulut cerita everything. Through ak punya observation la eh , takde sorang pun yang sombong. They are so down to earth, even the bosses.  Plus, some of them mmg dari keluarga yang kurang sikit, ada yang husband kat office, isteri menyapu kat bawah but under one department. Their stories mmg byk bgi pengajaran kat kita yang bukan semua yg kerja kerajaan hidup okay and banyakk lg positive vibes yg dorang sampaikan

Bagi pendedahan kat sini pulak, they made an improvement on the schedule for the practical students kali ni. Hehehe padahal ak sorang je . So kali ni lebih teratur and dapat merasa kerja kat each bahagian and their small units. Tapi sebab sekejap sgt kat sini so xdapat nak keluar ikut certain pegawai sbb jadual bahagian clash. 

Tapi mmg honestly xbanyak ak dapat pegi site kalau nk compare dgn kwn2 akuu ,ada yang tiap2 hari dapat keluar (praktikal kt semenanjung is preferable-untuk PBT) klu jenis yg mmg nk exposure byk . ak banyak spend masa kat office buat kerja2 ofiss haha typing, photocopy documents and plg byk dkat dalam bilik fail. Skrg ni pn klu Puan minta fail , I can find them hehe or at least I know which area they put them at.

Aku tak rasa rugi pun wlupun  xdpt keluar selalu, we need to learn everything. Orang kata jangan terikat dengan bidang pengajian kita je. Kita tak tahu rezeki di kemudian hari. Kan kan kan ? condition zaman sekarang membuatkan kita tak boleh memilih. Alhhh dah selalu pun kan orang ckp pasal ni ? so berusahalahhh ye kawan-kawan semua.

assalamualaikum , im back in kk everyone heeeee probably the happiest person right now . Alhamdulillah selamat sampai dgn lala sekali . We bought our flight tickets together hee ni first tirme ktrg satu flight sblum slalu terpisah sobs . 

the main subject yg ak nak kongsi kat sini is the view from upthere , everytime im on up there , ak akan snap few pictures . yes mungkin nampak macam dh lame sgt sbb everyone will do the same thing each time on plane , but i love the view upthere , rasa macam nak keluar from plane baring2 atas awan hahaha yes i know tu sangat impossible . nah belanja gambar 

Cantik kann ? The sun is setting down . This is one of the reason why we should be thankful to our creator , it's just too beautiful to describe with words 😌😌 

I have one month of holidays before i start my practical works and then off to KL again , soooo
